This year’s Student Planner endeavors to help children learn about the world by covering a different biome every month. Each month includes a biome description, several different animals who live in that biome, and a detailed description of how two plants and/or animals in that biome show evidence or design. Biomes include: Wetlands, Everglades, Tropical Forests, Temperate Forests, Boreal Forest, Arctic Tundra, Grassland, Savanna, Australia, Marine, Coral Reefs, and Deserts.
The beginning of the planner has a section for children to discover their learning styles, personality, and type of intelligence. There are also pages for journaling, planning a meal, cleaning their rooms, logging books, recording field trips, and more. There is a also monthly two-page calendar. The weekly planner is an excellent place to write down school work and chores. There is also a place to write the week’s spelling words.
